Around the corner from where we lived in Fort Greene, Brooklyn is Bittersweet, a cozy coffee shop serving strong coffee and small batch ice cream sold by the cone or pint.
Bittersweet needed a brand identity that could communicate both offerings. As a personal project, I created a budget-friendly identity including illustrated posters, logo, mix-and-match packaging and rotating stickers for labeling drinks and ice cream pints.
During winter no ice cream is served making the spring return a poster-worthy announcement. Jamaican Grapenut is a beloved flavor dedicated to the neighborhood's many Caribbean residents.
